Mindful Body Flow (Thursday 10:15)
This class will help to release tension and relieve stress, restore the mind-body connection allowing you to discover a deeper understanding of how to move your body safely and effectively. We incorporate a step-by-step approach to yoga posture practice (asana), breathing (pranayama) and movement (ullola). Classes start with a centering warm-up, followed by a variety of flowing standing poses, balancing poses and then a seated stretch section. Next, we move to our flow sequences that help to strengthen muscles, build bone density and at times challenges the cardiovascular system. We move smoothly from one pose to another ensuring correct posture, alignment and mobilisation of joints.
Midweek Mindful (Wednesday 19:00)
Take an hour to relax and reconnect your mind and body. This class will leave you feeling completely stretched and chilled. It is so important to take time to be present in the moment and focus on your personal wellbeing. We use breathing techniques to calm the mind and imagery to take you to a deeper level of relaxation. You owe this to yourself.
Friday Flow (Friday 9:15)
Kick the weekend off the right way with some full-on flow, this more challenging class will get the heart rate up, get the muscles strengthening and lengthening and get the mind tuning in. You will be challenged to move through a series of poses done in sequence using the breath to guide you with an emphasis on strength and flexibility.
