Terms pursuant to the following contract: The Training Provider (Seagrass Wellness & The Kinetic Training Academy)  and You (The Customer)

By enrolling on our courses you are agreeing to enter into a financial commitment. We strongly recommends that prior to enrolment you satisfy yourself that you fully understand and are able to comply with that commitment. If there is anything you are unclear about or if you have any questions, please contact us immediately by telephone or e-mail before making your booking. 

COST & PAYMENT DETAILS:

The course fees as listed include (where applicable)

  • Examination registration fees
  • All tuition, course manuals and handouts
  • Assessment of course material & feedback
  • You are responsible for all travel arrangements and expenses

Fees for courses shall be in accordance with the prices listed on the Seagrass Wellness Websites and in effect on the date of registration on the course. We reserve the right to adjust such fees at any time without notice, including adding special offers. All applications must complete the registration form and are subject to acceptance by Seagrass Wellness, if successful the applicant shall pay a non-refundable deposit of £250. The deposit is required within 14 working days to reserve the space on the training. For CUSTOMERS paying by a single payment, date of payment will be advised by US. If YOU fail to pay by this date WE reserve the right to cancel YOUR place on the course OR offer an alternative payment plan if appropriate. For CUSTOMERS paying in stages, YOU will be advised when to begin payments. If you fail to make payment as agreed after a reminder has been issued, WE reserve the right to cancel YOUR place on the course.

CANCELLATION:

CUSTOMERS may cancel course registration before the start of the course by notifying US in writing. Any refund will be based on the date the written cancellation request is received by US. All deposits are Non-Refundable under any circumstances. If the CUSTOMER cancels up to 6 weeks prior to the course start they will receive a 50% refund of balance payments already made. Cancellations within 6 weeks of course start are completely NON-REFUNDABLE. CUSTOMERS paying in stages will be liable to pay the reminder of the course fees even if you wish to terminate the course early. There is a strict NO REFUND POLICY ON LIVE COURSES/EVENTS that have been attended in full or in part.  In the case of sickness, or extreme circumstances which mean only part of a live course or event was attended, a credit note will be issued and the ability for you to complete the remainder of your course/event at a later date will be made available. If you are unhappy with any ONLINE course/event which you have already accessed in part or in full, there is a NO FULL REFUND policy but your payment (if you are paying by installments) will be halted and discontinued. You will also lose access to the purchased course content in full.

We reserve the right to deal with every refund request on an individual basis.

WE reserve the right to cancel the course for any reason, though WE will endeavor only to do so in the event of exceptional circumstances that mean we are unable to offer the course as advertised, or if there are, in our opinion, insufficient numbers booked onto the course for it to be commercially viable. Should this happen, WE will notify YOU promptly and will refund you the full amount YOU have paid us in respect of the course. We will not, however, be responsible for any additional expenses which YOU may have already incurred or agreed to pay in respect of attending the course.

Our on line Learner Resource area (located at www.thekta.co.uk) enables you gain access to core resources for your studies. Log in details will be sent via email upon enrolment. Learner Resources are for KTA students only and log in information (passwords etc) are not to be shared with anyone else.  At the start of each course, you and your tutor will discuss an Assessment Plan and schedule completion dates for each Unit of the Qualification. These are to provide a guide and date for completion. Any alterations to these dates must be communicated between tutor and learner and documented accordingly on the Assessment Plan. 

Certificates and/or a Letter of Certification to show completion of a course will not be issued until WE have received payment in full for the course for which you are being certificated. All certificates will be issued in the name held on our records at the date you successfully complete the course or module. It is your responsibility to inform US in writing of any change of name and to provide appropriate evidence, such as a marriage certificate or deed poll. If this information is received after certification has been processed then you will be responsible to pay any additional feels levied to US regarding printing and/or processing of a new certificate . If you lose a certificate and require a replacement, a fee of £30 will be payable. If you change your name or address prior to the date you successfully complete the course but fail to notify us and require US to issue a new certificate, a replacement fee of £30 will be payable.

Seagrass Wellness and The KTA complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and data protection principles. You consent to Seagrass Wellness and The KTA processing your personal information for administrative, legal and management purposes. We do not disclose your information to unconnected third parties. If you need to correct any information we are holding, please contact us through the website, by telephone, e-mail or post.
