What Do We Get Asked Most?

What do I need to bring to a class?

The simple answer is just yourself – we provide fresh water, mats and equipment. You are of course welcome to bring your own, we have space for members to store their mats should you want to.

What do I need to wear to a class?

Comfortable clothing that you can move in is best with layers so that you can regulate your temperature.  Zips and large buttons should be avoided and most people wear leggings and T-shirts, but feel free to wear what ever makes you feel happy.

Why do you recommend bare feet for classes?

There are a number of reasons for this – firstly, our feet are extremely important to our health. Strong arches and ankles help to keep us stable and our toes help to balance us. When we wear shoes our feet do not move freely as they should.  Secondly by removing shoes at the door we can keep the studio cleaner and dirt free

What if I can't do everything in the class?

Please don’t worry, all of our classes are designed so that everyone can work to their own level. Lots of options are given as well as props to make classes as accessible as possible.  If you need to stop and rest you can at any time. Our instructors and members are very supportive, everyone was a beginner once, we understand.
